This session is designed to give practitioners a greater understanding of their duties with regard to the council’s finances. Topics include legislation and the national Governance and Accountability Guidance, banking and accounting, VAT, preparing for end-of year, working with your internal auditor and further support.
Local Council Finance can be provided in-house, which is a cost-effective approach if you have a number of people who require training. You choose where and when you want our trainers to deliver. We will also tailor the course content to suit your precise organisation needs.
To find out more about LCPD in-house training, please see our In-House Training webpage or to speak us about your particular requirements please contact Sue Ramage.
