An Introduction to Health & Safety for Parish Councils

Aims:

An informal session to discuss and understand basic key elements of Health and Safety. The course will be aimed at those who wish to refresh or learn new knowledge and discuss relevant aspects within their responsibilities.

Session Benefits:

  • Employees, Contractors, and Volunteers
  • H&S Surrounding events
  • Policies and Current Working Practices (standard rulebook) COSHH & RIDDOR

This session will not just be discussion and listening, we will have scenarios to 'play out' and help everyone discuss what they think of the outcomes.

We will be asking attendees to think about their current responsibilities regarding H&S in order to tailor the session to their own immediate needs, i.e they may have concerns in a specific area.
