£44,075 - £47,181

Hours:

37.5 however part time will be considered

Our council and the role:

Hound is a picturesque parish in Hampshire with a population of circa 7,000 that is served by the Council with 12 members who are looking for a highly motivated and forward-thinking Clerk & RFO.

The position is flexible and part time hours would be considered for the right candidate who will be required to manage the Council’s statutory requirements, lead a staff team of 6 and promote the interests of the parish by forging strong relationships within the community.

Ideally, we are seeking CiLCA qualified candidates with a minimum of 2 years’ experience in a senior local council role. However, full support, training and mentoring will be provided in the expectation that you will complete the CiLCA qualification within 24 months of commencing the role.

Duties will include:

• Strong leadership

• Communication at all levels

• A working awareness of IT, Website and social media

• Financial management

• Comprehensive reporting
