Location:
The role is predominantly based at the Parish Office in Four Marks but there is some flexibility and opportunity to work from home on an ad hoc basis.
Salary:
To be discussed with applicant dependent on experience.
Hours:
Fifteen – Twenty hours, days flexible. Wednesday evening meetings x 3 per month.
Our council and the role:
Currently due to Staff long term sickness, the Council is looking for some temporary cover for the Clerk role. This could be ranging from administrative assistance to full Clerk cover. Supervision and help with workload organisation can be offered. Ideally the candidate would have their CiLCA qualification and be able to assist the Council with day to day aspects of the role. When the existing Clerk returns to work in full capacity, there is an opportunity to convert to an RFO role
Duties will include:
- All aspects of Clerk role – producing Agendas, Minutes, day to day admin
- Supervision of contractors, other staff members.
- Ensuring the Council takes all reasonable steps to ensure that services are delivered to the Community whilst managing risk.
The ideal candidate will have/be:
Ideally CiLCA qualification or experience in the sector.
