Statement on Local Government Re-organisation decision for Hampshire, Isle of Wight, Southampton and Portsmouth 

The Government has confirmed its plans to reorganise local government across Hampshire, the Isle of Wight, Southampton and Portsmouth. Four new mainland unitary authorities will be created—North Hampshire, Mid Hampshire, South-East Hampshire and South-West Hampshire—alongside the Isle of Wight.
